Born and raised in New York, Susan has lived in many Manhattan neighborhoods, giving her firsthand knowledge of what the city offers and the varied personality and nuances of each distinct area. Having bought and sold several co-ops in the city as well as purchased, sold, designed and renovated homes in Sag Harbor, she is well aware of the emotions that are central to making one of life’s major decisions. What’s more, raising a daughter here gives her extensive insight on schools and family activities.
Susan graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Marketing, Business and Interior Design. She spent many years in sales and marketing in top-level management positions honing her interpersonal and negotiating skills. For 10 years, Susan was Executive VP at an executive search firm heading up the media and internet division. She also worked in the consumer magazine and advertising fields, at Rolling Stone Magazine as VP of Advertising leading the national sales team to record-breaking levels, as well as at Playboy, Mademoiselle and McCann Erickson Advertising.
Susan is an avid runner and Pilates enthusiast, an arts and entertainment buff, and frequent theatergoer who sees many movies and concerts each year. Traveling with her family is her main passion, as is cheering on her daughter’s award-winning national dance team.
